It's a Burning Man fundraiser for the playa's best dive bar, the FANDANGO village bar -- the home of Bootie BRC on the playa -- and a welcome Esplanade oasis featuring tasty drinks and ... music with words! Fandango DJs Malderor and Mad Murdock spin in the upstairs room all night. Bootie BRC DJs Adrian (of Piss Clear fame) and Mysterious D hold it down on the main floor.

For the Midnight Mashup Show, it's the return of Burning Man performance troupe Counter Culture Collective, while at 11 PM, worlds collide on stage, as Bootie presents DJ Ajax vs. Ryan Lendt, performing a live mashup set using two turntables and a microphone ... plus a guitar! N-Tyme joins the pair for some live video mixing.

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJs Adrian & Mysterious D, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, Bootie mixes and matches every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation ... and free mashup CDs, given away like candy!
